Our story began in a real working kitchen - not a boardroom.
As a professionally trained chef, I owned and operated a catering business that included a gourmet sandwich shop and food truck. Every day, we relied on quality food packaging to keep our products fresh, protect them during transport and present them beautifully to our customers.
Like many food businesses, we experienced the frustration of unreliable suppliers, inconsistent stock availability and poor customer service. When you're preparing food for customers, the last thing you need is uncertainty over whether your packaging will arrive on time.
Throughout our business, we chose Colpac packaging because it consistently delivered the quality, presentation and reliability we needed. We used these products ourselves, so we understand exactly what matters when you're serving customers.
It was this first-hand experience that inspired the creation of Wholesale Online.
The business brought together two very different but complementary skill sets.
As a chef, I understand food. I know how important presentation is, how freshness influences quality and how the right packaging can enhance the customer's experience before they've even taken their first bite.
My dad, Simon, brings decades of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing and online retail. As the founder of iShop, he has spent many years helping businesses grow online through website development, SEO and e-commerce solutions. Together, we recognised an opportunity to create something different - an online food packaging supplier built around genuine industry knowledge, dependable service and practical advice.
